Ms. Upasana Saraf joined Bombay Cambridge Gurukul in the year 1993 as a Counsellor. With a postgraduate degree in Psychology, she completed a course with the Centre for Educational Management and Development. She has worked as a Counsellor for students in 4 different schools, and made numerous presentations at different platforms. Being a dynamic person and having a passion for giving the best education to children she spearheaded and formed the Department of Human Resource Development in Bombay Cambridge Gurukul in the year 1995. She resolutely believes that ‘‘Schools are the foundation of any society. What we choose to teach our children is just as important as how we teach it.’’
In the last 15 years, she has worked with the School Management in introducing various new concepts and practices in the Gurukul which has helped the growth of every individual in the Gurukul. Her ability to ask related questions in a non-intrusive manner and her ability to think precisely is what makes her stand apart. Her participation in the field of counselling and education is commendable. She has conducted more than 100 workshops and training sessions with students, parents, teachers, and school authorities. Her driving force is her firm belief that every child deserves the best and that every individual in the environment can contribute to it.
